Tube Beads....in love all over again :)

I got inspired to make some tube beads. I haven't made this style of bead for a few years so thought I would give it a try. I love making these beads and after I made a couple I am in love all over again....will be making lots more of these....here is the result:)

First Beads of the Year....

Here are my first beads of the year! These are 1.5" focal beads with scroll work and clear side windows encasing Whale Tails. I am inspired by creating movement in my beads and of course all things nature.

Happy New Year. So for the start of the new year I thought I would make some new beads...they will be out of the kiln tomorrow and will post the pictures.

Well, finally have more beads, fresh out of the kiln. I just love making these beads, they are so much fun...all the same goes in but everything different comes out....enjoy :)

Okay, so red is one of my favorite colours to work with, you just never know what you are going to get....
Here are some examples, all three of these beads have various shades of red, with ivory, silver and clear.

Okay, fresh from the kiln, more new sea inspired beads. I just love making these kinds of beads, it reminds me of looking down into the sea. When I was a kid, my front yard was the ocean, go figure :) So here they are: this first one I call "the eye of the storm", you can see why. Enjoy...

Okay, so this will be the third time I have posted this bead picture, but now it is in its final form. Here is my first copper electroplated bead necklace of the year. This necklace is on its what to an art show, enjoy....:)

Okay, so I admit, I love my copper electroplating machine..... I took it out of the box, dusted it off and did a few beads, here is the result :)

I just love this combination of aqua and ivory glass, with purple starfish on top. These beads are in the box, ready for the bead show in Toronto coming up in March.
